City Hall is located at 589 Main Street West. We are in the adjacent building with the White Sulphur Springs Police Department.
City Hall’s main phone number is 304-536-1454.. Mayor Bruce Bowling can be reached at 304-536-1454, extension 205. City Hall is open 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Water accounts may be paid online at www.whitesulphurspringspayments.com, you will need the amount due and your four digit account number, or you can pay in person at City Hall, or you can mail a check or money order to White Sulphur Springs City Hall 589 Main Street West, White Sulphur Springs, WV 24986.
Please note the following:
If you are performing any type of repair, renovation or alteration to your home or property, you must obtain a City Building Permit. Pick up the application and pay the required fee at City Hall. The application will be reviewed by the Zoning Officer, Bo Belshee.
The city provides water, sewer and garbage pickup within the city limits. We also provide water and sewer to residents outside of city limits depending on location.
Water, Sewer and Garbage Services are provided by the City of White Sulphur Springs. A $50 security deposit, copy of lease/rental agreement and photo ID are required and paid at time of applying for services. If you own or are purchasing the property we will need a copy of the documentation stating such, copy of photo ID, no deposit is required. Water statements are due by the 20th of each month.
The City provides free curbside recycling twice a month. Contact David Lovelace at the Public Works Department 304-536-1020 and leave a brief message stating location of pickup and items needing picked up. There is a list provided at City Hall to help with recycling.
All businesses in the City must obtain a Business License to obtain a Business License Application please come to City Hall to obtain.
Monthly City Council meetings are held the second Monday of each month at 7:00 pm in the City Council Chambers at 589 Main Street West and are open to the public. We welcome your attendance and input.
